Almost every single business owner I have met has desired to grow his or her business beyond what it is currently. Expand. Grow. Be more.
I get it.
That’s one of the most basic desires of human nature. To become more than what we currently are, to desire constant expansion.
As you are looking to grow your business this year, let me share some of my ideas on how you can grow on social media.
The trends we’ll be seeing in 2016:
- Marketing is becoming more personal than ever. Especially social media marketing.
As businesses owners, we’ll need to recognize this and adapt our plans. If you are active on Facebook, consider creating a private group for your customers, clients or prospective clients in order to connect directly. Provide value and have fun in these groups.
- Producing relevant content on each social media platform is becoming more difficult for businesses.
As businesses owners, we should take our time and work on each platform in order to create value and understand the “landscape” of that platform.
Think of each platform as a different city, where you can experience the different local flavors. An ad in San Francisco may not be received the same way as an ad in Miami. The same is true for social platforms.
They are different, and if you want to market well in that “city” you need to learn, observe and watch, rather than just plastering the same content everywhere.
- Even in the world of fast, online marketing, relationships are KING!
As Gary Vee says, if you’re not into sales, you’re not a business. And to make sales, you must be good at cultivating relationships. Social media is one of the EASIEST places to connect with your customers or prospects, so use it well!
How can you love on your fans, followers, customers and prospects?
